6th PEER Program session on Saturday, 18 May 2024!

PEER @ Tampines

Time: 8.30am to 1.00pm 

Reporting Venue: Taxi / Drop-Off near Arena, Our Tampines Hub, 1 Tampines Walk, Singapore 528523 (Click here to view the pick-up location)

Dress code: PEER T-shirt with long pants & covered shoes (Please ensure you wear long pants & covered shoes!)

Activity:  Eco Sustainability Workshop

Bus drop-off location for activity: Ground Up Initiative, 91 Lorong Chencharu (Highly recommended to take the provided bus as the area is rather inaccessible on foot and nearest bus stop and MRT stations are not nearby)

Reporting details: 

*Please arrive at the reporting venue by 8.30am for the shuttle bus to activity location.

The bus will leave promptly at 8.45am. An organizing commitee member (Aqif/Rusyaidi), wearing a dark blue PEER T-Shirt will be around the pick-up location.

There will only be one pick-up time! Please make your own way to the venue directly if you missed the shuttle bus.

There will be a return bus back to OTH at the end of the session.  We will board the return bus by 12.45pm. Journey back to OTH takes approximately 20 - 25 minutes. Bus will arrive back to OTH between 1.05pm - 1.15pm.

Directions to OTH:

By train, the nearest MRT station is Tampines MRT. 

By bus, you can alight at the following bus stops:

  • Bus stop A (ID: 76051, Our Tampines Hub) - 3, 10, 20, 23, 31, 34, 39, 65, 67, 292, 293

  • Bus stop B (ID: 76059, Opp Our Tampines Hub) - 3, 10, 20, 23, 31, 34, 39, 65, 67, 292, 293

Directions to Taxi Stand/Drop-Off near Arena @ OTH

  • From the main entrance of Our Tampines Hub, head towards the Arena @ OTH (near the south/west end of OTH)

  • The taxi stand/drop-off is near to the main road, along Tampines Avenue 82.

Things to bring

  1. Smartphone

  2. Writing Materials - Pen & Notebook

  3. PEER Stamp Card (For mentees)

  4. Insect Repellant (Venue is situation within a rustic nature environment) 

  5. Water bottle 

  6. Umbrella

  7. Face Towel (optional)

PEER @ Woodlands

Time:  1.30pm to 6.00pm 

Reporting Venue: Woodlands MRT Exit 3 (Exit towards Republic Polytechnic, Pick-up Point near taxi stand) (Click here to view the pick-up point)

Dress code: PEER T-shirt with long pants & covered shoes (Please ensure you wear long pants & covered shoes!)

Activity:  Eco Sustainability Workshop

There will be a return bus back to Woodlands MRT at the end of the session. We will board the return bus by 5.45pm. Journey back to OTH takes approximately 15 - 20 minutes. Bus will arrive back to Woodlands MRT between 6.00pm - 6.10pm.
